About the Journal
Al-Mujtamaiyyah: Journal of Community Engagement is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Institut Agama Islam Persis Bandung, Indonesia. This journal is published twice a year, in March and September.
Al-Mujtamaiyyah: Journal of Community Engagement focuses on the dissemination of community service activities and the implementation of social science research for community empowerment. The journal provides a platform for academics and practitioners to share their experiences in solving societal problems through a multidisciplinary approach. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:
- Community empowerment and social development
- Application of social and political sciences in society
- Cultural and heritage preservation initiatives
- Conflict resolution and peacebuilding at the grassroots level
- Gender mainstreaming and advocacy
- Islamic-based community development (dakwah and social work)
- Digital literacy and social-humaniora innovation
- Local wisdom and sustainable community programs
Language Policy: If the author is from Indonesia, the initial submission may be in Indonesian. However, once the article is accepted for publication, the author is required to translate the manuscript into high-quality English, following the journal's translation and formatting standards. This journal serves as a forum for discussing contemporary social issues, research-based community interventions, and interdisciplinary studies that address both local and global challenges
