Abstract

This community engagement program aimed to create a child-friendly village free from bullying in Ciaro Village, Nagreg District, Bandung Regency. The increasing cases of bullying among children and adolescents have raised concerns due to their negative impacts on mental health, academic performance, and social development. This program employed a holistic approach involving multiple stakeholders including children, parents, teachers, community leaders, and village officials. The methods included socialization, training, creative campaigns, mentoring, and the establishment of an Anti-Bullying Task Force at the village level. The program was implemented over 6 months with a budget of Rp 10,000,000. The target involved at least 200 children, 100 parents, 30 teachers, and 20 community leaders. The program integrated local Sundanese cultural wisdom of 'silih asah, silih asih, silih asuh' in its approach. The results showed significant improvement in community awareness about bullying, with 70% of participants demonstrating better understanding. The program successfully established a sustainable anti-bullying prevention and handling system, making it a model that can be replicated in other villages in Bandung Regency.
