Seminar Positive Parenting dan Pendampingan Belajar Anak Usia Dini di Desa Ciaro Kecamatan Nagreg

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to provide education to parents and early childhood education teachers in RW 12 Ciaro Village, Nagreg District, Bandung Regency about positive parenting and early childhood learning assistance. Based on observations from Student Community Service (KKN) in 2026, several problems were identified including limited access to early childhood education, suboptimal management of Play Groups (Kober), low parental understanding of positive parenting, and minimal digital literacy in accompanying children. The program was implemented through a seminar on February 8, 2026 from 08.00-12.00 WIB facilitated by Dr. Tepi Mulyaniapi, M.Pd. using interactive lecture and group discussion methods. The activity was attended by approximately 50 participants consisting of housewives and several early childhood education teachers. The seminar material referred to the Positive Parenting Pocket Book compiled by Dr. Tepi Mulyaniapi, M.Pd. and Imas Karyamah, M.Pd. which covers principles of positive parenting, home learning assistance, child development maps, and digital literacy. The implementation was assisted by KKN students from IAI Persis Bandung Group 18. Participants showed high enthusiasm during the seminar and were active in discussion sessions about implementing positive parenting at home. This program contributes to increasing public understanding of the importance of positive parenting and optimal stimulation for early childhood development in rural areas.
