About the Journal

Haddatsana: Journal of Hadist Studies is an open access journal published twice a year. It accepts submissions of scientific papers related to the study of Al-Hadith, text and context.
HADDATSANA is published by the Hadith Science Study Program of Institut Agama Islam Persis Bandung. which focuses on in-depth studies of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, covering various aspects such as sanad, matan, criticism methods, contextual understanding, and their relevance to contemporary challenges. This journal is a forum for academics, researchers, and practitioners in the field of hadith studies to present research results, conceptual articles, and critical reviews.
Every article published goes through a rigorous peer-review process, ensuring scientific integrity and academic quality. Haddatsana also opens space for interdisciplinary explorations, such as the integration of hadith studies with social sciences, humanities, and technology, to enrich the perspective of understanding Islam in the modern era.
